Jane’s
inspired cooking
and she is happy to
provide evening meals
or a light supper,
by prior arrangement.

Breakfast,
and dinner if required,
is served in the
small dining room
at the west end of
the house, with lovely
views down onto the
garden, woods and
Belvior
Castle beyond.
A full hearty cooked
English breakfast
with local produce
and our own free
range new laid eggs
or a lighter cereals,
fruit and cold meats
will be served,
with a selection
of teas
and ground coffee.
Home made marmalades
and reserves to
spread on freshly
baked bread.

The
guest rooms have direct
access to the dining
and sitting rooms, which
have comfortable sofas
on which to relax, with
perhaps a gin and tonic
from the drinks tray,
enjoying views over
the garden and the Vale
beyond. There are even
binoculars provided
to watch the buzzards
wheeling in the thermals
over the woodland below
the house.

Jane
and Nigel are particular
enthuastic gardeners
and have created the
wonderful landscaped
garden over the last
decade and a half,
from rough pasture.
A large ornamental lake
is the central feature,
which is stocked with
Koi, Chag and Orrph.
There are various lawned
areas, with terraced
rose arches, herbaceous
borders, vegetable
gardens and fruit cages.
Terrace
seating – dining
area. Not to forget
our free range chickens
in the paddock and
orchard.
Ironing
and shoe cleaning materials
are available and wet
clothes can be dried
in the utility room.
Sporting guns secured.
